Q & A

Why is tweezing better than waxing?
  1. You not only take off the hair when waxing, you also take off skin. This can cause irritation and hyper pigmentation, especially when your at home skin care products contain alpha hydroxy acids and/or retin-a (anything exfoliating the skin already). When tweezing you are only removing hair.
  2. Waxing can take off way to much hair leaving your brows uneven and thin. Tweezing when done by my method will shape them evenly and clean.

Why should I not tweeze daily?
Tweezing daily will keep your brows from staying clean and well shaped. It is important for your hairs to be on the same growth pattern in order to achieve this. So, if all the hairs grown out are pulled out on the same day, then they are more likely to grow back in around the same time.  Therefore you can go longer without tweezing. When you start tweezing everyday you tend to over tweeze and take more and more hairs, loosing the shape.  Before you know it, what was once thick and nicely shaped is now thin, sparse, and possibly crooked.

Why is it important to have greatly shaped brows?

When shaping brows you are removing hair. Eventually those particular hair follicles will quit producing and growing new hairs. You will be stuck with what you have. Just because someone "Does Brows"  doesn't mean they know you how to shape them. When I use my method of tweezing on your brows you will have a full understanding of how your brows should look for your particular face.
